People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, PETA, have lots of programmes going on to abolish frog pithing and dissection. PETA's the kind of large, well-established organisation that can make a significant difference for the frogs in schools all over the world. By becoming a member of PETA, you help finance the work required to pursuade all governments of the world to abolish frog pithing and dissection altogether -- and PETA even does this from the nobler goal of ending all dissection whatsoever, even dissection of dead pigs, worms, and the like. Therefore, join PETA today!

This website shows the frog spirit at its most heart-warming and endearing: Imagine somebody cares so much for the little frog that he or she is caring for and providing a home for, that the person made a website just for advertizing the fact that the frog got lost! This is how the frog supporters ("the frog people") are: Deeply caring and deeply engaged in the lives of their little frog friends. This website shows a great example of the true value of a frog: Somebody you care for, somebody you protect, and somebody you miss deeply if lost. Through my studies of the frog on the Internet, I have ran across many frogsites which unreservedly and uninhibitedly show their love for the frog, but this website is excruciatingly heart-warming! This website is a brilliant example of how strong the relationsship between human and frog can be.

Frog History and Philosophy
- www.raidersnewsupdate.com/exodus.htm
About the Plagues of Exodus of The Bible. Read the section "The Frog Plagues" to learn that once it was a capital offence to kill a frog in Egypt! No wonder Egypt became such a great and glorious civilisation with the pyramids still standing after all these thousands of years. Once again we see that ancient cultures have been way ahead of us in ensuring the rights of the animals. "Mr. Jones, you are hereby sentenced to death for having killed a frog."
I'm not exactly what's going on on this page, but I do agree about the part that says "64. The Ideal State has lots of frogs in it."
- home.planet.nl/~esther.kjell/webprobeer/froghome/frog.htm
Drawings of the frog people, to supplement the link given above.

Interesting article on the frog eye, particularly my favorite Rana esculanta.
